Amit, I think your initiative is worth appreciating. I am a young Chandigarh resident and feel strongly on several issues raised by you. On Rock Garden, which I visited recently, its true people have been defacing it and the city administration is also not doing much to maintain it. I think we city residents should be invited as volunteers to keep a check on such elements defacing our world famous garden, and those caught should be fined heavily.
The Rock Garden needs to be given in private hands. The city administration cannot manage it!
